Forest Hotel offers ready packages that include accommodation, food, conference and custom activity programme. The hotel lies in Tärendö, Tornedalen, 80 km north of the Arctic Circle in Swedish Lapland. You can get here by air or rail via Pajala*, Gällivare, Luleå or Kiruna, *Pajala has no train connection, but Pajala Airport is just 20 minutes from Forest Hotel, and caters for charter traffic in addition to the scheduled daily flights from Stockholm via Luleå.

Forest Hotel, with Tärendö River and the endless forests that surround it, lies in the last untouched wilderness in Europe. There is an abundance of animals around the hotel, and meeting reindeer is a daily occurrence. Moose and bears are not as frequent, but can be encountered.

Your stay will give you the opportunity to learn about Tornedalen culture, including its story-telling tradition and its hospitality. Our cooking is based on Tornedalen and Swedish Lapland food traditions that include game, fish, white coffee cheese, Kangos cakes, flatbread, sima (Finnish mead). You can enjoy our gastronomy indoors in our cosy restaurant or outdoors at our wilderness camps, or in our lávvu tepee on the courtyard.
